Women’s Cross Country Finishes Second at York Invitational

BRONX, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence women's cross country team finished second among 10 squads on Sunday at the York Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park.

RECAP
For a second consecutive week, Sarah Lawrence, who won the York Invitational last season, ran the 6K course at Van Cortlandt Park after running last weekend in the Queenborough Invitational.

Rosa Mykyta-Chomsky was the Gryphons' top finisher, placing fifth overall with a time of 26:31. Jemma Fisher finished 10th, crossing the finish line in 28:10. Right behind Fisher was Molly Walsh, who finished 11th in 28:16.

Isabel Edmonds completed the course in 28:59, while Katherine Labadie finished in 31:50. Lea Perry crossed the finish line in 32:09, followed by Caroline Beegan in 36:12.
