Women’s Cross Country Runs at MSMC Knight Invite

MILTON, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence women's cross country team finished seventh among 26 squads on Saturday at the MSMC Knight Invite at Hudson Valley Sportsdome, the site of the 2018 Skyline Cross Country Championships.

Saturday's meet was the largest meet in the Atlantic region (NY and NJ) this weekend with 41 college teams participating and over 700 runners entered for the men's and women's races.

Rosa Mykyta-Chomsky was the No. 1 runner for the Gryphons, finishing 21st overall in 28:07. Jemma Fisher finished in 29:09, followed by Molly Walsh in 29:11.

Isabel Edmonds crossed the finish line in 30:04, followed by Katherine Labadie in 33:23. Lea Perry completed the course in 35:54, followed by Caroline Beegan in 40:34.

Ada Cerdan Rahola, Katherine Tinsley and Juliana Markam-Adkinson rounded out the Sarah Lawrence participants.

The Gryphons finished seventh among 26 teams, finishing ahead of Skyline opponents Mount Saint Vincent (297), Purchase (394), Farmingdale State (552) and Old Westbury (620).
