PURCHASE, N.Y. – Shin Narita set a personal record on Saturday as the Sarah Lawrence College men's cross country team ran in the Purchase College Invitational.

Returning to the site of the 2017 Skyline Cross Country Championships, Shin Narita was the Gryphons' top finisher, placing 37th with a time of 30:22, a new personal record in the race. At last season's conference championship race, the sophomore recorded a time of 32:28.

Zack Roccaforte completed the course in 30:53, while Nathaniel Gabor finished the race in 34:44. Making his season debut, Mario Jerez finished in 35:41 to round out the Sarah Lawrence runners.
