YONKERS, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence men's soccer team suffered a 7-0 loss Tuesday to Farmingdale State at Fleming Field.

Farmingdale State, picked seventh in the Skyline Preseason Poll, scored three times in the opening period. The Rams took a 1-0 lead in the 19th minute off a penalty kick from Bryan Argueta. Farmingdale tacked on two more goals before halftime, finding the back of the net in the 44th minute and once more 14 seconds later.
The Rams scored four more times in the second half. Anthony Machado made it a 4-0 contest in the 65th minute, followed by a second goal from Argueta in the 75th minute. Moments later, Kyle Darden scored, followed by a goal from Godspower Excel in the 82nd minute.
Farmingdale outshot Sarah Lawrence 31-7, including a 16-3 margin in attempts on frame. The Rams also held a 10-0 advantage in corner kicks.
