BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence men's volleyball team earned their first win of the year Saturday at Campbell Sports Center, rallying from an 0-2 deficit to defeat Pratt, 3-2. The Gryphons split for the day, falling to Neumann in straight sets in the nightcap.

GRYPHONS KNOCK OFF CANNONEERS
Sarah Lawrence turned in a gritty performance to pick up the win and snap a 26-match losing streak.
Pratt won the first two sets, and nearly completed the sweep, holding a 24-23 lead in the third game.
Sarah Lawrence did not give up, using back-to-back kills to take a one point edge. Pratt countered with consecutive points to regain the lead, but three straight scores from the Gryphons secured the victory to force an additional game.
Sarah Lawrence rode its momentum into the fourth set, cruising to a 25-14 win to force a decisive fifth game. The Gryphons scored the first three points of the final set en route to a 15-9 win.
Divij Kapoor posted 18 kills, three aces and two blocks. The sophomore also contributed eight digs.
Felix Massey paced the Gryphons with 25 assists, while adding eight aces, 12 digs and four kills.
Ithai Diakov finished with nine kills, two aces and seven digs, while Harris Silcott contributed six kills, four aces, two blocks and a team-best 13 digs.
Humza Obaid chipped in with 10 digs and one ace, while Will Wilson recorded three blocks and six digs in the victory.
