BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -  The Sarah Lawrence men's volleyball team won its first set on the season Wednesday in a non-conference loss against Lehman at Campbell Sports Center.

RECAP
After dropping the first two sets of the contest, the Gryphons put together a strong outing in the third game to avoid a sweep. SLC raced out to an early 15-5 lead, highlighted by a spurt of nine unanswered points. Lehman closed the gap, but was unable to catch up, as the Gryphons won by a 25-22 margin.
 
Lehman concluded the match with a 25-16 victory in the fourth set to secure the road win.
 
TOP GRYPHON PERFORMERS
Felix Massey paced the Gryphons with 15 points, collecting 10 kills and five aces. The sophomore also recorded five digs.
 
Ithai Diakov finished with five kills, eight digs and an ace, while Aaron Ashery chipped in four kills, one ace and a team-high nine digs.
 
Lance De Leoz handed out a team-best 18 assists, while Michael Yang and Josiah Corson combined to add three kills and six digs.
 
UP NEXT
Sarah Lawrence is back in action on Saturday (Feb. 1) with a home match against Medgar Evers. The match is scheduled for 12 p.m.
