Women's Soccer Earns United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - United Soccer Coaches announced the recipients of the Team Academic Award, and earning the citation was the Sarah Lawrence women's soccer program. 

United Soccer Coaches annually recognizes college and high school programs that have excelled in the classroom in addition to their hard work on the field. A total of 942 college teams (357 men, 585 women) earned the Team Academic Award, including 203 schools who had both their men's and women's programs recognized. College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster for the 2019-20 academic year.

Sarah Lawrence has now earned the award for a fifth consecutive year and the third time under head coach Maurizio Grillo.
