FARMINGDALE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence College women's tennis team won the Skyline Conference Championship on Saturday afternoon, taking down top-seeded Farmingdale State College 5-1.
The win marked the first Skyline title for the women's tennis program and the first Skyline team championship for Sarah Lawrence College since joining the NCAA in 2015.
Isabella Hardman was named most outstanding player of the tournament.
Hardman, along with
Simi Rao, won no. 1 doubles 8-7.
Sasha Conner and
Sophie Holmes were victorious in no. 2 doubles 8-4.
Conner earned a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 win in no. 3 singles. Holmes followed that up with a 6-3, 6-4 vcitory in no. 4 singles.
Bella Biane capped off the championship with a 6-3, 6-0 triumph.
