BRONXVILLE, N.Y. –
Nicholas Fajardo scored his second goal of the season for the Sarah Lawrence College men's soccer team as the Gryphons faced off against the Mount Saint Vincent Dolphins on Saturday night. SLC fell to CMSV 2-1.
Fajardo had a terrific scoring opportunity squandered by the Dolphins' keeper in the 7th minute. Less than a minute later, the keeper made another diving save, stopping a scoring chance for
Yusef Maftoon. CMSV broke through five minutes before halftime, heading into the break with a one-goal edge.
Nearly 10 minutes after the intermission, the Dolphins added their second goal. Fajardo cut the deficit to one 36 second later, receiving the assists from
Simon Kopecky.
Kian Silva finished the game with 10 saves, making spectacular stops throughout the night and keeping the Gryphons within striking distance.
