NEWBURGH, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence College women's soccer team wrapped up its 2021 season, going up against the Mount Saint Mary College Knights in the first round of the Skyline Conference Tournament on Saturday afternoon. The Gryphons fell 2-0.
Maya Pfeiffer started the game in goal. The sophomore from Great Neck, N.Y. finished the contest with right saves.
MSMC scored both goals in the first half.
Lily Matalus had a shot saved by the opposing keeper shortly after the Knights' second goal.
Cat Faville also had a scoring opportunity squandered right after the intermission.
The Gryphons finished the season with a 9-10 overall record and a 5-5 conference record.
