Samantha Lungren found the back of the net twice for the Sarah Lawrence College women's soccer team, lifting the Gryphons to a 6-1 victory over Purchase College on Saturday night.
Numbers
- For Lungren, the goals marked number five and six on the year.
- Lynn Rech netted the ninth goal of the season and recorded two assists. The first-year is tied for the third most goals in the Skyline Conference.
- Cora Colvin scored for the third straight match.
- Izzy Deltoro tallied her first collegiate goal.

How It Happened
The Gryphons went up by two less than 10 minutes into the contest, receiving goals from Colvin and Lungren. The first half settled down from there and SLC went into the break with a two-goal edge.
Rech recorded the first goal of the second half at the 46:11 mark. Cadieux followed up shortly after. Lungren's second goal made 5-0 in favor of the Gryphons. Deltoro netted the final goal of the match, cementing the final score.
