BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence women's tennis team grabbed its first victory of the season on Tuesday night, defeating the Yeshiva Maccabees 7-2. Carrie Sun won two matches for the second consecutive week. 

Sun's first win came in the first doubles match of the competition, playing alongside Alexis Nanavaty. Her second victory was the second singles match of the evening, taking the sets 6-2, 6-2. 

The Gryphons swept the doubles matches. Bridgette Lee and Bella Biane won 8-2 in doubles no. two. Ghiyan Dornelly and Ellie O'Brian took their match 8-2. 

Biane and O'Brien also picked up picked up two wins on the day. First, it was Biane defeating her opponent 6-2, 6-2 in singles match no. four. Then, it was O'Brian ending the night with a 6-0, 6-0 conquest.
