NEW YORK -
Samantha Garcia scored a goal in the third straight game for the Sarah Lawrence College women's soccer team as the Gryphons battled John Jay College on Wednesday night. The Gryphons dropped the match to the Bloodhounds 4-1.
Garcia's goal came in the 59th minute. John Jay opened the scoring near the 18-minute mark. Another Bloodhounds point 10 minutes before the break made it 2-0 at the intermission.
The SLC offense picked up in the second half. The Gryphons fired off eight shots, four of which came from
Lainie Cadieux. The John Jay keeper made five stops, solidifying the final score of 4-1.
