BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College women's tennis team won its third straight match, taking down St. Joseph's College of Long Island 8-1 on Saturday afternoon.
The Gryphons sit in first place in the Skyline Conference at 5-1.
Isabella Hardman and
Simi Rao cruised to an 8-4 victory in the #1 doubles.
Sasha Conner and
Sophie Holmes earned an 8-1 win in #2 doubles. A win by forfeit in #3 doubles gave the Gryphons the sweep.
Hardman's second win came in #1 singles. The junior defeated her opponent 6-2, 6-1.
Simi Rao recorded an 8-1 victory in #2 singles.
Sasha Conner fought hard for her 7-5, 6-3 #3 singles triumph.
Bella Biane ended the day with a 6-0, 6-0 win.
