FARMINGDALE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence College cross country team began its 2021 season on Friday afternoon, competing in the Adelphi Panthers Invitational at Bethpage State Park. 

Lena Kalotihos was fastest Gryphon on the day, completing the 5K course in 23:03.40. They finished 54 out of 129 runners. 

Skye Balfour ended the race nearly two minutes later, recording a time of 25:14.50. 

Will Tway was the first Gryphon to cross the finish line in the 8K. He posted a time of 37:17.10. Lee Brown finished the race at 45:37.90.
