MILTON, N.Y. – The cross country season has come to an end for the men's team at Sarah Lawrence College after the conclusion of the Skyline Conference championships. The team finished in eighth place with 226 points.
John Nielson led the men's team with a time of 32:30.0 over the 8-kilometer course at the Hudson Valley Dome in Milton. Nielson's time was good enough for 40th place.
Will Tway was not far behind his teammate with a 41st place finish running at a 32:36.8 clip.
Miles Bakshi (57th – 34:31.7), Lucas Murray (78th – 38:08.3), and Nathan Williams-Gelobter (86th – 44:56.2) rounded out the entrants for the men's squad.
The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy dominated both the individual and team competitions, led by Isaac Clark's blistering pace of 26:35.8 while the team score was just 30 points, 44 fewer than the next closest competitors (Maritime and St. Joseph's – Long Island).
