FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College men's soccer season came to an end on Tuesday with a 5-0 loss to Farmingdale State College.
FSC improved to 9-5-2 overall and 7-2-2 in conference play to place as the second-seeded team in the postseason tournament, earning the Rams a first round bye.
The Gryphons were not able to maintain any consistent time of possession as the Rams outshot SLC 39-5 over the course of the game, including 18-2 in shots on goal.
FSC scored two goals within 54 seconds of each other early in the first half and the Gryphons were not able to recover.
Elijah Shohat made just his second career start in goal and tallied a career-best 13 saves on the evening affair. Shohat, a first-year player, earned a win over the Pratt Institute earlier this season in his first start.

Simon Kopecky managed to get a shot on goal each for the Gryphons with Kopecky leading the way in total shots with two.
SLC finished the season with a 5-8-4 overall record and a 1-6-4 Skyline Conference record, finishing in 10
th place for the regular season standings, unfortunately missing out on postseason play as only six teams move on to the conference tournament.
