Box Score BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence women's tennis team defeated the Knights of Mount Saint Mary on Tuesday night, by a score of 6-3. The Gryphons also celebrated senior day, honoring six student-athletes prior to Tuesday night's match.

Simi Rao and Sasha Conner won at first doubles, shutting out the pair from MSMC 8-0. Chloe Cohen and Ghiyan Dornelly earned a win in second doubles as well, defeating Mount Saint Mary's duo by a score of 8-5. Nitika Kamath and Mary DeSouza played at third doubles, falling to Mount Saint Mary's pair 1-8.

In singles play, Rao continued a dominant match, defeating her opponent in straight 6-0 sets. Sasha Conner also continued her winning ways, winning 6-2, 6-0. First year Neomi Spellan battled in a three-set showdown at third singles, eventually earning the win with scores of 4-6, 6-2, 6-1. Kyra Johnsen earned the final win of the match for the Gryphons, taking down her opponent in the fifth flight after winning a close 8-6 tiebreaker in the first set, winning 6-4 in the next. Chiara Libraro fell in fifth singles 2-6, 1-6 and Catherine Whitman fell in the sixth flight in straight 3-6 sets.

The Gryphons (3-7, Skyline 1-3) will return to play in their penultimate match of the season on Friday, a rescheduled match at Manhattanville that will begin at 4:00 p.m.
