Gryphons Host One-Loss NYU on Monday Night

YONKERS, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence women's soccer team fell to 8-1 NYU on Monday night by a score of 7-0. The Gryphons will next get a day off before returning to play on Wednesday against Purchase College.

How it Happened

The Violets scored in the third minute off the foot of Kelli Keady and did not look back. That score would be the first of four first-half goals by the visitors. The Violets would return from the halftime break and continue their scoring, with Keady once again finding the back of the net. Jessica Tonthat would score the final two goals for NYU within three-and-a-half minutes of each other to seal the victory for the visitors.
