PATCHOGUE, N.Y. - For the second time in the past two weeks the Sarah Lawrence men's volleyball team fell to the Skyline-leading St. Joseph's College of Long Island Golden Eagles by a score of 3-0. The Gryphons fell 25-9 in the first two sets before a much closer 25-17 set to close out the match. The Gryphons will look forward to senior day on Thursday March 30th as they host Purchase College at 7:00 p.m.

How it Happened
The Golden Eagles dominated from the start of the match, jumping out to a 6-2 lead and eventually finding themselves ahead 13-8. The Golden Eagles would then embark on a 12-1 run to close out the set by a score of 25-9. The second set was very similar as St. Joseph's claimed an early 11-2 lead and did not look back, winning the set by a 25-9 score once again.
The third and final set would start similarly as the Golden Eagles would take a 7-1 lead but the Gryphons would continue to battle back, using kills from both Massey and Miles to keep Sarah Lawrence within striking distance. Despite keeping the set close, St. Joseph's would remain in control and claim the set to take the match victory three sets to none.
