JERSEY CITY, N.J. - The Sarah Lawrence men's soccer team took on NJCU in a physical non-conference matchup on Saturday, falling 5-0 to the Gothic Knights. The Gryphons will return to action on Tuesday when they travel to take on Old Westbury for their first Skyline bout of the season.

• Jonah Zalis registered one save in his first collegiate appearance

How it Happened

The Gothic Knights got ahead with a score four minutes into the game and did not look back, tacking on two more scores later in the half, scoring in the 21st and 22nd minutes. The Gryphons were only able to register four shots in each half, with just one finding the goal. The hosting Gothic Knights scored twice more in the second half, as they registered 10 total shots in the period.
