MILTON, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence cross country teams returned to the Hudson Valley Sports Dome on Sunday for the Mount Saint Mary College Knight Invitational. The men's cross country team earned a 13th place finish and the women's team took home 9th place. 

Top Performers

• Senior Leo Kalotihos built on last week's solid season-opening performance, finishing in ninth place this week in the men's 8k race with a time of 30:50.9
• Coco McLeod led the women's runners from SLC, finishing in 20th place with a time of 33:12.4 on the 6k course

In the men's 8k race, Kalotihos was followed by Isaac Gaber and Aidan Roney, who both finished in the top-70 runners with times of 37 and 38 minutes. Zeke Ash and Ben Park also competed for the Gryphons, with Ash finishing the course in 42:36.1 and Park completing the 8k in 45:55.1. 

In the women's 6k race, McLeod was followed by Al Sinclair and Kate Hansberry who finished in 42nd and 44th place. Grace Cabral, Emery Brandhorst and Inga Specht rounded out the field of runners for Sarah Lawrence with finishes of 51, 65 and 87.

Up Next

The Gryphons will return to action next Sunday, October 1st, as they take on the Van Cortlandt Park course in the Bronx. The meet will start at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.
