Box Score PURCHASE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence women's tennis team fell to the Manhattanville University Valiants on Sunday afternoon 7-0. The Valiants, who are the reigning Skyline Conference champions, swept both singles and doubles play en route to the 7-0 victory.

Josephine Jackson fell 6-1 at first doubles, while
Zoe Kovac and
Viha Shah met the same fate in the second flight. Kovac and Shah put up SLC's best fight in doubles play, falling 6-2 to Manhattanvillle's Suzi Doyle and Addison Ortiz.
Caroline He and Hiba Riaz rounded out the team's doubles pairing for the match, as the duo was shut out by the Valiants 6-0 in a tough matchup. In singles play, Jackson battled through a close first set, eventually falling 7-5 before Manhattanville's Adrianna Filippelli took the matchup in straight sets. Kovac fell to Ortiz in straight sets along with the remainder of SLC's players, as the reigning champions looked poised to challenge for a second straight title.
