FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence men's soccer team battled hard but ultimately fell 3-2 to Farmingdale State on Wednesday night at Rams Field. Despite rallying with two second-half goals, the Rams' lead was too big and the hosts held out for the Skyline victory. The Gryphons wrapped up their 2024 campaign with Wednesday night's matchup against the Rams.

How it Happened
The game remained scoreless through most of the first half, with both teams struggling to convert chances. Jean Mejia broke the deadlock for the Rams in the 44th minute, assisted by Sebastian Monroy, giving Farmingdale a 1-0 lead heading into halftime. Farmingdale extended their lead early in the second half when Anthony Bileddo scored in the 47th minute, and Mejia added his second goal in the 53rd. Sarah Lawrence responded strongly, with Bronshvag finding the back of the net in the 66th minute to cut the deficit to two. Miles then followed suit in the 72nd minute, finishing a pass from Bronshvag. However, the Rams held the lead over the final 18 minutes to secure the victory.

The Gryphons (5-13-2, Skyline 2-8-1) have now concluded their 2024 campaign with the loss to the Rams. The Gryphons started the season off with a pair of Skyline wins over both Purchase and Old Westbury in September before drawing with Maritime.
