YONKERS, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence men's soccer team suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Manhattanville College on Wednesday night at Fleming Field. Despite a strong defensive performance and multiple impressive saves by goalkeeper Elijah Shohat, the Gryphons were unable to break through offensively, as Manhattanville's second-half goal proved to be the game-winner.

Early in the second half, Manhattanville broke the deadlock when Del Vescovo capitalized on a well-placed pass from Trujillo, scoring in the 51st minute. Sarah Lawrence responded with increased urgency, and Bronshvag came close to equalizing with a shot that was blocked by the Valiants' defense. Despite a few late efforts, including a shot on target by Jude Jordi-Donnelly in the 86th minute, Sarah Lawrence was unable to find the back of the net.
