How it Happened
Sarah Lawrence came out flying in the first half, striking three times in the opening 26 minutes to seize full control. Senior Aidan Roney opened the scoring in the 9th minute with a left-footed shot from the top of the box, followed shortly by Miles, who finished a feed from Bronshvag to double the lead in the 13th. Just minutes later, Monaco Collins made it 3–0 off a pass from Miles, and the duo combined again in the 27th minute when Miles headed in his second of the match to give SLC a commanding 4–0 advantage at halftime.
The Maccabees mounted a response in the second half, netting goals in the 48th and 52nd minutes to cut the deficit in half. After a brief stretch of tense play following the two scores, the Gryphons regained their rhythm. Miles completed his haul in the 64th minute, first finishing a through ball from Trent Paleka, then slotting home another off a setup from Bronshvag to secure the 6-2 victory.
