LAGRANGEVILLE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence Equestrian team earned six ribbons in Saturday's show at Crosswinds Equestrian Center hosted by Marist College. First Year
Rose Stabile led the team with a Blue Ribbon in the pre novice flat, the first of Stabile's SLC career.
Stabile's first-place ride in the pre novice flat highlighted the day, but
Leena Mathiasen's second-place finish in the same event rounded out a strong day for the Gryphons' first-year riders. Junior captain
Maeve Lamson put together a sixth-place ride in the open flat while
Mia Chamorro earned a sixth-place finish in the introductory flat.
Saffron Bessler ribboned in two events on Saturday, the only Gryphon to bring home multiple pieces of hardware. Bessler earned sixth-place finishes in both the limit flat and limit fences, helping the Gryphons to six total ribbons on the day.
