BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - The Skyline conference announced its weekly awards report on Monday afternoon, naming four Gryphons as recipients of awards and another as an honorable mention. From the SLC swimming teams, two swimmers of the week and a rookie of the week, from women's basketball, a rookie of the week and from men's basketball, an honorable mention for player of the week.

Seniors Keilani Talma and Patrick Rau were both named Skyline Swimmers of the week after being honored at the team's senior day meet. Talma won both the 200 freestyle and the 200 butterfly events over swimmers from both Mount Saint Mary and the College of Staten Island while also being part of SLC's 200 medley relay team that bested the squad from MSMC. Rau finished second overall in the 200 yard freestlye and beat MSMC's top swimmer in the event by over seven seconds. Rau then returned to the pool for the 200 yard butterfly, beating swimmers from both CSI and MSMC with a first-place swim that saw the senior touch the wall in 2:18.19. Rau bested four swimmers in the event, a pair from each visiting school. Bay joined Talma in the 200 medley relay while also besting Mount Saint Mary's swimmers in both the 50 freestyle and 200 breaststroke, helping the Gryphons move to 3-1 in conference play.

On the hardwood, Jade Ling Eng-Stewart put up 24 points and seven assists while shooting over 50% from the field as the Gryphons took down Mount Holyoke. Eng-Stewart made an immediate impact for Sarah Lawrence, averaging 16.0 points and 7.0 rebounds across her first two collegiate contests. The first year contributed on both ends of the floor, helping Sarah Lawrence split its opening weekend. Andrew Kim earned an honorable mention after helping the men's basketball team to a win on Sunday over Bard. Kim scored 17 points while adding in six rebounds, six assists and four steals as the Gryphons took down the Raptors by nine points to wrap up a weekend split. The junior averaged 13.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, five assists and 2.5 steals across the two games.
