ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence men's cross country team finished eighth of nine teams in Saturday's Fred Pavlich Invitational hosted by Bard College. The Gryphons finished ahead of CUNYAC foe Lehman College and just behind Skyline opponent St. Joseph's Brooklyn.

Thomas Matonti once again led the pack for the Gryphons, completing the 8k course in 35:39.8. Noah Carey and Michael Duwin followed closely behind with times of 35:43.4 and 36:30.1 respectively. Aiden Morel and Gavin Wright rounded out the group of Gryphons with times of 38:03.8 and 41:01.1.

The Gryphons will return to the trail on Sunday, September 28th as they head to Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx for the Queensborough Invitational.
