BRONX, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence men's cross country team got a pair of top-75 finishes from Ivo Duwin and Noah Carey on Saturday at the Queensborough Invitational. The race took place at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, with over 20 teams in attendance.

Ivo Duwin led the Gryphons with a time of 37:34.73, good for 72nd place overall, while teammate Noah Carey's time of 38:00.68 finished just two spots behind Duwin to give the team a pair of top-75 finishers. The Gryphons showed steady improvement as the season continued to progress, building momentum ahead of the Skyline Conference Championships at the end of October. The experience gained from racing at the challenging Van Cortlandt Park course will serve the squad well moving forwardand the team will now turn its focus to its next meet, a dual meet with Purchase College on the morning of October 7th.
