Eight minutes later, Jefferson Umana added the visitors' third goal off an assist from Liam McDermott to seal the result.

The Gryphons continued to battle throughout the contest, with Kairos Diaz recording Sarah Lawrence's lone shot on target. Diaz finished with three total shots, while goalkeeper Jonah Zalis made four saves across 90 minutes in net.
