LAGRANGEVILLE, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence equestrian team wrapped up the 2025-26 season with an all-region show at Crosswinds Equestrian Center, totaling eight ribbons with a trio of Gryphons earning multiple awards.

Maeve Lamson, Angel Chen and Saffron Bessler all returned to Bronxville with a pair of ribbons, with Lamson doing so with a red ribbon in the intermediate fences event and a fifth-place ride in the open flat. Chen turned in a pair of third-place rides, first in the open fences before doing so in the intermediate flat. Bessler wrapped up the team's slate of multi-ribbon finishers with a red ribbon in the limit flat and a fifth-place showing in the limit fences. Nyah Raposo earned the team's third red ribbon of the day, doing so in the pre novice flat before Fiona Nary ended the day with a fourth-place ride in an introductory flat.

The Gryphons wrap up the year with a sixth top-four finish and a seventh eight-plus ribbon performance, ending a strong overall season on a high note. The team will graduate a trio of riders, but return a strong core for the 2026-27 season in hopes of replicating and building upon this year's success.
