Mount Saint Vincent, which finished the 2025 regular season undefeated, was selected second with 110 points and four first-place votes. United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) received 105 points and two first-place votes to place third.
Manhattanville University earned the remaining first-place vote and finished fourth with 91 points, while Farmingdale State rounded out the top five with 85 points.
Maritime (64), Mount Saint Mary (59), Old Westbury (52), Purchase (48), and Yeshiva (33) rounded out the top 10. Sarah Lawrence was selected 11th with 20 points, while St. Joseph's University-Brooklyn placed 12th with 14 points.
The Gryphons finished the 2025 season with a 5-10-3 overall record and went 2-8-1 in Skyline Conference play. Sarah Lawrence earned conference victories over Yeshiva and St. Joseph's-Brooklyn, while its lone conference draw came against Farmingdale State. The five overall victories marked the program's highest win total since 2019.
Entering the 2026 season under a new coaching staff, the Gryphons will look to build on last year's campaign and surpass the five-win mark, which the program has reached in each of the last four seasons. Sarah Lawrence will also pursue its first appearance in the Skyline Conference Tournament.
The Gryphons open the 2026 season Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Albertus Magnus before beginning conference play Saturday, Sept. 19, against USMMA at Fleming Field.
