2014: Skyline Academic Honor Roll … started in 13 games of season … played each of his first five games from start to finish … played 12 complete games on defense, stepping off the field for only 11 minutes of his games played.

Off the Field: Concentrating in psychology … also studying neuropsychology and biochemistry … plays clarinet.

Personal: Parents are Marion and Ivan Burns … has one brother, Michael … favorite book is The Road by Cormac McCarthy … enjoys biking, running and hiking … speaks Chinese.
