Biography
2015: Played against all 13 opponents … went undefeated (7-0) in Skyline doubles play … played three singles matches, defeating John Jay (Sept. 9) and St. Joseph’s Brooklyn (Oct. 11) … won a dozen straight doubles matches … led team with 12 doubles wins, playing with partner Sarah Fiordaliso … 12 doubles wins rank third most in a season in team history … finished career ranked third on all-time career doubles wins list (28).
2013: Played in all 14 matches … earned singles win against Mount Saint Mary (Sept. 22) … won seven doubles matches, playing primarily with partner Sarah Fiordaliso … advanced to No. 2 Doubles final at HVIAC Championships.
2012: HVWAC Champion at No. 3 Doubles … led the team with nine doubles victories in the season, partnering with co-champion Sarah Fiordaliso for six … won her first two singles matches of the season, including a 10-0 win over Vaughn (9/19) … also won first two doubles matches and five of her first six … posted a 3-1 week including a pair of doubles wins to earn HVWAC Rookie of the Week honors on Oct. 2 … selected to HVWAC Honor Roll on Oct. 23 … in addition to winning the No. 3 doubles flight, she advanced to the title match at No. 5 singles in HVWAC Championship.
Off the Court: Concentrating in history … also studying French, French history and French literature … additional coursework in personal and hygienic habits of pre-WWI Europeans … also member of SLC club golf team.
High School: Junior varsity captain … participated on club skiing and fencing teams.
Personal: Parents are Lisa and Craig Garber … has one sister, Callan … enjoys skiing, hiking and sabre fencing … hobbies in cosplay (costume-making), sewing and painting … aspires to be a corporate attorney … speaks French and Spanish … once lived in Switzerland.
