2015: Ran in two races … posted season-best 8K time of 41:18 at Bard Invitational (Sept. 19).
2014: Skyline Academic Honor Roll … one of three team members to run in all nine races … ran 5K best of 22:10 in Maritime Dual (Oct. 9) … took nearly nine minutes off his collegiate debut time to set personal 8K best of 34:00 at CCNY Classic (Oct. 12).
Off the Trail: Studying film, journalism and radio … plays viola.
High School: Ran varsity cross country for three years.
Personal: Parents are Amy Van Der Wyk and Eric Christeson … has one sibling, Raina … favorite books are the Chaos Walking triology by Patrick Ness … aspires to be a writer for The Onion.
