2016: Skyline Academic Honor Roll … received team Coaches Award … competed in all nine races of the season … placed among team’s top five runners in eight races … finished three races among top 30 runners overall … best overall finish was 20th at NYIT Invitational (Sept. 17) … ran career best 6K time of 27:12 at Skyline Championship (Oct. 30) … set new career-best 5K of 22:12 at NJIT Invitational (Oct. 8) … finished season ranked No. 8 on SLC all-time 6K list, and No. 9 on 5K list.
2015: Skyline Academic Honor Roll … competed in six races … posted season-best 6K time of 37:09 in debut at Baruch Invitational … placed among top-50 with time of 24:42 at Warde Invitational (Sept. 12) … recorded season-best 5K time of 24:03 at Bard Invitational (Sept. 19); her collegiate-best time is 19th-fastest in team history … finished as No. 7 Gryphon with time of 27:41 at MSMC Knight Invite (Oct. 3) … was No. 6 Gryphon at St. Joseph’s Invitational, completing the course in 26:44 (Oct. 17) … concluded season with run of 25:29 at Skyline Championship (Oct. 25).
Off the Trail: Concentrating in design studies … has also studied biology, chemistry, industrial design, sustainable architecture, Buddhism, psychology and ethnic conflicts.
Personal: Parents are Pamela Brug-Panton and Peter Panton … has two siblings, Matthew and Rahdee … hobbies include blogging, singing and playing cello and bass … aspires to start an eco-friendly fashion label … speaks Dutch.
