2014: Skyline Academic Honor Roll … Skyline All-Sportsmanship Team … won team Coaches Award … finished among top three Gryphons in all nine races of the season … posted season-best 5K time (23:01) at MSMC Knight Invite (Oct. 4) … ran career-best 6K with a time of 27:33 in team’s runner-up finish at CCNY Classic (Oct. 12); the time is the fifth-fastest at that distance in team history … placed as the top Gryphon in the final race of her career, running a sub-24-minute 5K at the Nick Russo Classic (Nov. 2).
2013: HVIAC All-Academic … Coach’s Award recipient … competed in six races … ran season and career best of 21:54 at Bard College Invitational (Sept. 21) … finished the season as a medalist and third Gryphon to cross the line at the HVIAC Championship (Oct. 20), finishing 19th overall.
2012: HVWAC All-Academic … ran in all seven races … posted team’s best time, 25:52.9, in season opener at Purchase Invite (Sept. 8) … selected to HVWAC Honor Roll on Sept. 11 … ran 5K personal best of 23:33 at Bard College (Sept. 22) … finished 17th at HVWAC Championship with time of 24:35.
Off the Trail: Concentrating in film and education … also studying medieval history … co-chair of American Sign Language Club … serves as a Resident Advisor (RA).
High School: Four-year letter winner in cross country … running cross country since seventh grade.
Personal: Daughter of James Emery … has one brother, John … enjoys playing ukulele … competes in triathlons and Spartan races … aspires to be involved in the film industry or a Renaissance Faire knight … "speaks" American Sign Language and German.
