Hannah Hirst joined Sarah Lawrence Athletics as the Sports Information Director in August 2026.
Hirst comes to Sarah Lawrence from New Jersey City University, where she served as the Assistant Athletic Communications Director. In her role, she served as the primary communications contact for multiple sports, managed gameday operations, created social media content, and maintained the athletics website.
Prior to NJCU, Hirst spent two years as the Sports Information Graduate Assistant at William Paterson University, where she assisted with coverage of all 13 varsity sports and served as the primary contact for the university's club bowling team. She earned her master's degree in Sports Administration from William Paterson.
During her time with the Pioneers, Hirst also gained experience at the conference and national levels, volunteering at the Atlantic 10 Conference Men's Basketball Championship and the 2024 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament, both held at Barclays Center.
Before beginning her graduate studies, Hirst spent two years working as an auditor at a nationally ranked accounting firm.
Hirst earned her bachelor's degree in Accounting from Ramapo College in 2020. As an undergraduate, she worked in the Sports Information department, serving as gameday personnel for all sports. She also traveled with both the men's and women's basketball teams, assisting with bookkeeping duties.
