Medina is serving her first season as an assistant coach at Sarah Lawrence College. She was a volunteer assistant coach for the Sarah Lawrence women’s basketball team during the 2023-2024 season.  Medina played for four seasons on the Sarah Lawrence women’s basketball team from 2019 to 2023.  She led her team in rebounding, broke the school rebounding record in her final season (2022-2023), and started every single game throughout her collegiate career.  Medina earned the Sarah Lawrence Coach’s Award two years in a row for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 seasons.  She was named to the Skyline All-Academic Honor Roll for both the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 seasons, and was selected for the Skyline All-Sportsmanship Team during the 2022-2023 season.  In her senior year, she was initiated into the Alpha Psi Chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma.

Originally from Denver, Colorado, Medina attended Mullen High School, where she played in the highest CHSAA division for girls’ basketball in Colorado and won a state championship in her senior year (2019).  She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sarah Lawrence with a concentration in Biology and Environmental Science, and recently completed her Master of Arts degree at Stony Brook University in Marine Conservation and Policy.
