During softball's spring training trip, rookie Kamaron McNair played in all eight games, including seven as pitcher. The first-year player made seven starts and finished three complete games, racking up 27.2 innings of work over four days. She struck out 16 batters, including nine in her first collegiate appearance, setting a new SLC record.
