Mary Kauffman kicked off her senior year with a pair of top-5 finishes in the team's first two races of the season. She began the season with a runner-up finish at the Baruch Invitational, helping the Gryphons to a third-place finish. On Sept. 12, Kauffman placed fourth at the SUNY Cobleskill Warde Invitational, handing SLC another third-place performance. Already this season, Kauffman has been recognized as Skyline Runner of the Week and has been named to the Skyline Honor Roll.
