A rookie, Roccaforte led the Gryphons in back-to-back races, placing as the best Sarah Lawrence runner at SUNY Cobleskill (Sept. 12) and Bard (Sept. 19). At Cobleskill, he helped the Gryphons to a 3rd-place finish, their best at an invitational meet since 1998. At the Bard invitational, he crossed the line in 36th place at 30:20. The effort marked a personal best at the 8K distance.
