Defender Eva Horstman was a critical part of the Gryphons' wins over Maritime and St. Joseph's Brooklyn. As anchor of the back line, she helped the team record back-to-back shutouts, setting new team records in wins and shutouts in a season. In Tuesday's season finale, Horstman helped send the game into overtime after preserving a 0-0 shutout through the first 90 minutes.
