BJ Sanders began the week with his second double-double of the season, scoring a team-high 13 points with a game-high 13 rebounds in the Gryphons' game against SUNY College at Old Westbury. The first-year forward reached double-figures again in Thursday's game against The Sage Colleges, contributing 11 points while leading the team with seven rebounds. On Saturday against Farmingdale State College, Sanders contributed eight points and six rebounds. On the season, he is averaging 7.4 points and a team-best 6.8 rebounds per game. He has also recorded 12 blocks this season. For his efforts, he was named Skyline Rookie of the Week.
