On Tuesday, sophomore Ian Gonzalez became the Gryphons' first men's tennis player to ever win a singles match against Skyline rival Farmingdale State College. After the Rams swept the teams' three previous meetings, Gonzalez was able to pick up a three-set victory. He cruised to a 6-0 shutout win in the opening set before dropping the second set, 7-5. In the third set, he came out on top, 6-4, for his second straight singles victory.
