Zack Roccaforte was named the 2016 men's cross country MVP and was selected to the Skyline Academic Honor Roll. He ran in all nine races of season and posted a career-best 8K time of 28:50 at NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship (Nov. 12). Roccaforte finished as the Gryphons’ top runner in eight straight races and finished top-25 overall five times. Roccaforte's best overall finish was 10th at NYIT Invitational (Sept. 17), and he led the squad in 16th place at Skyline Championship (Oct. 30). Roccaforte finished the season as the No. 2 Gryphon on SLC all-time 8K list.
