First year Mario Jerez turned in his best performance of the season on Saturday at the MSMC Knight Invite at the Hudson Valley Sportsdome.

Racing at the site of the 2018 Skyline Cross Country Championships, the rookie was the Gryphons' No. 3 runner, crossing the finish in line 33:32, nearly a two-second improvement from his previous best.
