Sophomore Elliott Warkus (Waimea, Hawai'i, Parker School) triumphed as the flight champion at No. 4 singles in the 2013 Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference Tennis Championships. The effort marked his second individual tennis title, having won at No. 5 singles in 2012.

Warkus worked his way to the final from the quarterfinal round, blanking his Vaughn opponent, 8-0, before upsetting Webb's second-seeded player, 8-1. In the championship match, Warkus broke serve to take a 5-3 lead and held to win 8-5 over his Pratt foe.
