Sarah Lawrence College Athletics

Ella Pavlechko was an invaluable part of the fall 2013 women's crew team. She was a member of seven Gryphon boats, including one race as coxswain.

Pavlechko made her career debut in the No. 3 seat of the Gryphons' novice boat at the West Point Head Race. She then hopped in to the No. 3 seat of the SLC varsity 4+ as one of only two first-year students in the varsity boat. She also rowed in the varsity boat at the Navy Day Regatta in Philadelphia; the rookie returned to Philadelphia a week later to race in the Head of the Schuylkill.

Pavlechko's fall concluded with a three-race day at the 2013 MIRA Fall Championships. After helping the novice 8+ to a runner-up finish, she rowed in the varsity 4+ before steering the novice 4+ to a third-place showing.
